LEARNING SLOVENE LANGUAGE: ZIP – Initial integration of immigrants

The process of learning the Slovene language also includes contents from life and work, which strengthen and facilitate the integration / integration of immigrants into Slovene society. It is performed in the range of 60, 120 and 180 hours. The Ministry of the Interior (MNZ) is in charge of selecting contractors and supervising the implementation of the ZIP program.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”WHO CAN JOIN THE ZIP PROGRAM?” tab_id=”1603280753539-67188d43-ae55″][vc_column_text]60-hour program: third-country nationals with a temporary residence permit in the Republic of Slovenia valid for at least one year;

120-hour program: third-country nationals with a temporary residence permit who have been in the Republic of Slovenia continuously for 24 months on the basis of a temporary residence permit and have completed a 60-hour program for learning the Slovenian language;

180 hour program:

– third-country nationals with a permanent residence permit and their family members with a temporary residence permit on the basis of family reunification,

– third-country nationals with a temporary residence permit valid for at least 24 months, together with previous permits, and their family members with a temporary residence permit based on family reunification,

– family members of a Slovenian citizen or a citizen of the European Economic Area who resides in the Republic of Slovenia on the basis of a family member’s residence permit (validity and length of residence are not important).

if you fulfill the conditions, the Administrative unit will issue you a certificate of eligibility for inclusion in the ZIP program;

with a certificate, register with the selected contractor (eg CIK Trebnje), who performs consulting (acquaints with all important information);

the selected contractor performs testing — a test of previous knowledge of the Slovenian language;
